It&#8217;s been out for a month, but was sitting on the table, higgledy-piggledy. \u00a0I repainted two of the witches so they looked more like sisters than clones. Now the middle one looks unfinished, so it will probably get new paint some time later. I did some alteration, mostly on the witch on the right. She had no colors in her outfit, so she got green trim and accessories.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8137\" src=\"https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-02.jpg 800w, https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-02-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-02-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The cauldron is a fish bowl. I added a layer of tissue for texture, glued on critters, and painted the whole thing with iron patina. \u00a0The best thing is that it&#8217;s glass, and the tissue doesn&#8217;t totally cover it, so you get this when it&#8217;s lit:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8135\" src=\"https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-04.jpg 800w, https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-04-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches-04-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are three of <a href=\"https:\/\/smile.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B01HO89RWW\">these lights<\/a>\u00a0in the cauldron, set to strobe at different speeds, so I get a fire effect. \u00a0There is also a fire &amp; ice light aimed at the whole thing.<\/p>\n<p>This is cheering me on a gloomy, dark day:<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 627px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-8133-1\" width=\"627\" height=\"353\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches.mp4\">https:\/\/spookymoon.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/witches.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first of my indoor displays is up.
