It’s so hard to find a good centaur skeleton these days. Luckily, there’s Mythic Articulations, whose mission is to “to create what nature won’t.”
MA’s skeletons and skulls are 3D printed to order. They say if you want to seal the figure, to use a sealant that doesn’t yellow with age. I dunno, I think that would look pretty cool.
They also sell articulated figures. They are shipped unassembled, in a charming can.
Their prints are as lovely as their figures.
I’ll take one of each, thanks.
I almost never do challenges. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever done a challenge at a website before, but I couldn’t resist this months call-out at Haunted Design House.
They asked for an item that either took just one day to make, or involved words. I can never be counted on to finish a thing in one day, so I went for the inclusion of words. Here is my Beautiful Death Cuff.
I’m a terrible tailor, but I still had fun sewing this together, adding a little bead embroidery and a shabby flower, and making some charms.
I made sure the backs of the charms were pretty, as they move around during wear. How do I know? Because as soon as it was finished, I couldn’t resist wearing it to the movies. It is felt lined and very comfy.
It has its flaws–the button holes are a mess–but overall, I love this thing, and I’ll probably wear it often.
Mille Cuirs makes wonderful books.
Books for sketching, books for spells.
Books with gears.
And an entire section devoted to books for summoning elder gods.
He’ll definitely be eaten first.
