I don’t actually own any, but I have a secret love of headbands, tiaras, and even crowns, though I admit I don’t really want a crown. I just think they’re cool.
I found a ton of stuff, but today I think I’ll concentrate on the best fit for me personally: the Evil Queen.
[insert raving cackle]
Great for the queen whose evil is understated. You don’t fly into mad rages, you just quietly poison your enemies.
This, on the other hand, is for if you prefer those mad rages.
This one is more melancholy. Surrounded by death, none of it her fault. Well, almost none.
Lace, for your softer side. When the enemy is hot, so you prefer to seduce before you dispatch.
Finally, for when your minions have failed repeatedly, and you must go out in the field yourself, an action crown that shows you mean business.
It’s Mexico day here and at frytopia. I just thought I should save the Huichol skulls for here.
Peyote People has a small, but vivid collection of animal (real) and human (resin) skulls.
Viva Mexico has a lot of Alibrijes, and a few bits of very nice Huichol beadwork.
This black-and-white skull from Artmexican really caught my eye.
And of course, I have to close with the shop I featured on frytopia, Magia Mexica.
Arend Smith creates marvelous creatures from polyclay, often taking inspiration from the art of his wife, Lara.
He also creates resin kits of many of his creatures, so you can be part of the creation yourself.
He and Lara have an Etsy shop together, and you can also visit their facebook page.
So I noticed…
…that for the past two weeks, the newsletter says it’s being sent, but I haven’t received anything. This is the second time a newsletter program has failed me. It’s disappointing. Even though I only have a few subscribers, I really enjoyed how MailPoet worked, and I think it produced a lovely email.
Unfortunately, this is too much stress for too little payoff, so I am discontinuing the newsletter.
There are two best ways to keep up with me, if you don’t use an RSS reader.
1. On Facebook, Like the Spooky Moon page, and on the Like drop-down, choose Get Notifications. You will get one update per day with the latest post, and occasionally a few extras that are exclusive to Facebook.
2. On Twitter, you have two options:
Follow Spooky Moon, and you will get only new posts. It is automated, and I’m never on that account, so don’t reply to anything. Oops! That isn’t really updating. Sorry!
Follow me, Cat Winterfox (frykitty). You will get Spooky Moon updates, as well as new post notifications on my other sites, frytopia, The Daily Worm, and fogbound. I don’t use Twitter much, but I do check my notifications.
Sorry to abandon what I felt was a neat feature, but if it’s not going to work, it gets kicked to the curb.
